My love for writing started when I was just ten years old and won a young author’s contest for my book, “Wanda the Washing Machine.” The cover is wrapped in foil and I actually still have it. Later I began watching commercials where I would think of alternate endings and storylines for fun. Learning that combining these two interests was actually a profession made choosing a career path easy!
After graduating from Kent State University with a degree in Advertising/Journalism and Mass Communication I made the move to New York City.
I landed my first job at Young & Rubicam New York where my very first TV spot aired during the Super Bowl. Later I moved to Kenneth Cole Productions where I believe I found my voice, which some describe as insightful with a humorous twist. Next I had the pleasure of working for Saatchi & Saatchi where I helped build the P&G Olay brand into one of the most respected and recognizable in the world. Most recently I worked for Grey New York, where I was hired to bring a beauty look and feel to brands such as Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm XC, Juvederm Voluma XC, Physiogel and Zovirax just to name a few. I am currently enjoying freelance, something I’ve done off and on throughout my career, while I look for my next perfect job.
